Re: Help with choosing next cart to buy please.
Heres a link to a thread here where a guy upgraded his.....
http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...d-caroche.html that thing is badass , no way I would trade it for a newer one.....I would see if you could just take the whole front end off a DS , shock tower and all and bolt that on somehow....frames look pretty close from what I can tell in the pics.... |

Thanks man. They are very close to the same frame. I will put this body on a ds. I just want one with an MCOR, good brakes, and good steering. I have upgraded this cart to a emp Inc. switchable redesign and it works well. Problem is a caroche motor is external spline and the rear end is different so ds brakes will not work and caroche steering is atrocious when lifted and big tires added. It is not a rack and pinion like the ds so I want a ds to start with.

Are you sure the front clip just bolts right on to the newer style DS? looks like a much different shape

Re: Help with choosing next cart to buy please.
Guess I exaggerated a bit. :) Some modding will be done to get the DS body on the caroche. I don't think it will take a bunch to get the caroche on the DS though. I may only to a front swap.
