Looking a selling
So I am considering selling my Cart to help fund a Harley Ultra classic. With the follow mods, what do you think a fair price would be?
1986 CC DS 4" Jake's double a-arm lift 10x7 Storm Trooper Golf Cart Wheels 23x10-12 All Terrain Sahara Classic Tires Deluxe Light kit 30 amp 36v to 12v converter Carbon Fiber dash kit Carbon Fiber inlay steering wheel Chrome steering column cover Carbon Fiber Overhead stereo console with marine great radio and speakers Rear seat kit. Analog Voltmeter Blue underbody neon's 2.5" Flexy Flares Batteries are US2200 and are 3 years old. The pictures do not have the overhead console and rear seat add but I will update the pictures before I list the cart. |

Is it a resistor or controller cart?

. . . like classic cars, it is a labor of love modding carts . . . one never recovers their investment . . . price it realistically and hope to find an enthusiast that likes your mods . . . only you know what your bottom line would be on the cart . . .

Re: Looking a selling
I 'm not looking to make a bunch of money. I know that would never be the case. I just want to give a fair price. Most cart in my area that are modded like me are going for 4k+ but they are newer. I was thinking around $3500 or so.

Re: Looking a selling
The problem lies with it being a resistor cart. Most guys want a big controller or 48 volts flowing through a 36 volt motor on a cart they lift, the performance is better that way. It stinks, but people buying things like carts tend to look over the mods like lights and meters and different steering wheels, and look at the stuff like the age, condition, and voltage of the batteries and "how much power it has."
Pricing varies by market, but around here a realistic selling price for that cart would be $4000-$4500. EDIT: I see your post concerning value in your area now, that's just how much market area impacts value on carts. Your asking price sounds pretty fair to me |

Re: Looking a selling
Around here would be 2k ish tops. The mods are nice and the cart looks awesome but I would never imagine anywhere near 4k especially with no rear seat and no long top. Its worth what someone will pay.

Re: Looking a selling
Good looking Ultra,Have had 2 and miss them both dearly. Good Luck with the sale. In my area of Va. asking price for your cart from what I have seen would be 35 to 45ish.
