Default 2008 CC Precedent

After installing a ScottyB digital fuel gauge my cart will go, stop, beep and go again. This happened several times sat. Cart ran great for a few days without issue. Pack reads 52/53 volts. After a run of about 1/2 hour w/ 2 people with out issue i made back to garage and pack still read 50 volts.

Any ideas?? Thanks in advance, newbie here.

Could be a speed sensor issue?
If you are driving along and accidentally hit the FR switch, the cart will slow down and beep until its stopped...
Try this: http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...nsor-test.html

Tried the speed sensor test. The cart beeped and seem to have some resistance. Should it stop or just slow down??
BTW, after above test the cart ran great. Any ideas??

Was it running great before you added the scottys voltage meter?

If it continues then I'd look into what was done last. Maybe unhook it temporary to see if that was actually the cause or not.

Took the dash apart again this morning and re wired gauge to be on all the time. Put dash back together and nothing. Opened up the dash again this time noticed the other wire to the key switch was touching the lug but not connected. reconnected but was really loose, tightened and reconnected. Will road test later or tomorrow, it's really pouring here in SC right now.
Thanks to all!!!
