1. Best price around.
2. Transformer style.
3. Maintainer.

Sorry, that's 3 advantages when you only asked for one.

In case you don't know, the "maintainer" AKA float mode, keeps the batteries at 100%, meaning you'll get longer run-time and the batts will last longer before needing to be replaced. A DPI will pay for itself in battery replacement costs.

Wife wants to know why the oem chargers are more expensive and aren't as good… go figure it's usually why do you want the expensive one.

You're paying for the EZGo name, I suppose.

I have an RXV with nearly new 12 volt, 150 Ah Crown batteries, and I don't get the greatest range. The batteries came in the cart when I bought it refurbished and I can't justify getting rid of them just yet.

I have done everything I can to make sure I am getting the most range possible and that includes making sure the batteries are fully charged when I leave the house. I noticed that letting the cart sit only for a few days before using it can leave the batteries as much as 10% below full charge. And despite what the manual for the Powerwise says, the voltage has to drop a lot for the charger to come back on.

With all that said, I ordered a DPI and always leave the house fullly charged now. And on top of it, I sold my Powerwise and got 2/3 of my money back. Win/Win for me.
