slow RXV
Hi Everyone.
I have 2 RXV carts, one 2010 and the other 2011. Recently I have realized the 2011 is much slower than the 2010. It has new batteries, fitted before I bought it. Terminals are clean and tight and the charger says fully charged. Any pointers as to what I should check next would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Mark |

Re: slow RXV
The RXV has customizable top speeds that are set with a hand held unit or a specific tool depending on the year. Max speed is 19.6 but if the cart came from a fleet (golf course duty) it is probably set at about 12 mph. Speed is adjustable from 8-15 mph for golf courses. I would suspect this first as the cause for the slow speed. You will need to take it to a dealer or authorized facility that has the programing unit. There could be other issues but I would eliminate this first.

Re: slow RXV
Kernal is right.. But another thing you should check.. I'm not sure but i think in 2010 it was the danaher controller and in 2011 is the curtis.. Might be an issue....

Nope, 2012.5 model changed to curtis controller. Look for raw aluminum shield behind weather cover with danaher controller, black aluminum for curtis controller. |

Re: slow RXV
Hi Thanks for all the input. Haven't had a chance to take it do a dealer yet but it is the silver type (danaher?)controller, do these have issues?
