Re: Precedent amplifier location
I used a Wetsounds stealth 10. I have done a few of these bars. They just came out and boy do they sound good. Not bad for a bar that hold 10 tiny speakers. I wanted something out of the way that would give me some sound without compromising space. It has a built in 300 watt class D amplifier that is extremely efficient and works with any Bluetooth device. Not cheap, but it does the job. Installation was not bad. Most important, is that I mounted to where you can't even tell that I have a sound bar.

Nice! I saw those on line the other day. Post a pic of your installation when you get a chance.

Re: Precedent amplifier location
I sure will. I was able to mount with no problem. Running the wire was a different story. The only drawback in my opinion with this sound bar. It's pretty thick wire with big connectors, where you connect to bar and where you connect your voltage. Looks good in my opinion.

Re: Precedent amplifier location
wetsounds bar2.jpg
I think I finally figured it out. I apologize for posting twice 2 different pictures. I custom fit the brackets for sound bar between factory canopy brackets. I drilled a hole and ran my wire thru the inside of the roof bracket. Keep in mind that wire is pretty thick and it has inputs, outputs, power ground and remote turn-on wires. I cut the thick connectors and re-solder them. I also installed an ARC Audio mini amp to power 2 pair of additional Wetsounds speakers. I am using the stealth bar as my source input and as well as my output to the ARC mini amp. I faced the bar forward instead of facing it towards me, I did this because I had plenty of sound coming out of my other speakers and wanted you to know I was coming. I also hooked up a switch to cut power to the mini amp that power my speakers in the back in the event that I didn't want that much sound. It sounds pretty darn good for a golf cart. |

Re: Precedent amplifier location
Get a dash where they have speaker hole cutouts and hide amp behind
