Precedent HD rear springs
I have a new ( to me anyway) 2008 precedent. I added 12" wheels with 225/35-12 lower profile tires.
With the stock rear single leaf spring they rubbed when 2 people inside and a bump... Basically always with 4 people. I really did not want a lift so opted for the 4 leaf HD rear springs and because the stock spring is below the axle, I'd wasn't sure if they'd lift things a bit but only hoping for enough to clear the tires. I'd read a lot about this topic on this forum, but nothing said it in black and white... So for the money... I ordered the springs. Worked like a charm. Picked up a good inch and a bit in ride height. Yes very stiff, but with four adults.... No rubbing. Here is before and after. Before... image.jpg |
