Default Mcor 3 jumped can IJust run without it ?

Intermittent go peddle .
Jumped blue green plug as learned here.Works great unless I plug it back .Then it may go or may not go.
What will it hurt? $150.00 for a new one.
Will get a new one from a sponser here but it's bow season and would like to go now.
Precedent 2012 PH serial number

It's a safety switch. If your controller would short out an apply full voltage to the motor you wouldn't be able to stop the runaway cart by lifting your foot off the pedal. Sort of like a dead-mans pedal. Your choice.

So just bail out or hit brake.
I can live with that but will it hurt anything on the cart to run it or chage?
We will see this weekend and report back.

I would think you could flip the on off switch to off and that would cut power to it.

No need to bail out, the MCOR is powered by the key switch, just turn the key switch off and it is the same as lifting the foot of the pedal.

Edit: JakeSnake beat me to it, but I will add that lifting the pedal does nothing to directly turn the solenoid off anyway, it just sends a signal to the controller. Turning the key off does take the +48v off the solenoid.
