Do you still have all your screws in the throttle and choke plates?

Sometimes the plate screws come loose and end up inside the reeds before they make their way into the engine. If one came loose, it could be lodged in the reeds.

Well good news i fixed it !!!!!!!!!
Turns out it was something stupid that i over looked
Bottom of the carb where the float bowl screws on had a chunk missing
Looks like it has just deteriorated over the years and it was letting fuel bypass the main jet
Runs even better than before 31mph on flat ground gps
Now on to my next problem
Im pretty sure my starter is about on its last leg
Hit to go pedal and its real slow to turn the motor over like its weak
Anyhow time to search the site for some testing info

Check battery, make sure it's fully charged. Also check all your connections for corrosion and/or loose connection.
