Default Cheap steering wheel adapter or alignment issue?

I have a 2012 Precedent with 14 inch wheels and 6 inch lift. Purchased a month ago.
Everything was installed new when purchased.
The factory steering wheel was centered while driving.

I installed an aftermarket steering wheel and adapter. Now the steering wheel is off center when driving.

There is no other way to move the adapter to a spot where the steering wheel sits straight. I'm assuming I'll have to do some type of adjustment to remedy this?

How far off is it? If it's only a few degrees you can simply adjust the tie rods and get it straight again pretty easy.
If its more than about 30 degrees off you'll need to make some adjustment to the steering shaft where it attaches to the steering rack.

Say and thought about the other night. If my factory steering wheel.sits straight and the new one doesn't, then it might be the adapter.

I ordered another adapter (different brand name) of course. I installed it today and steering wheel sits perfect now.

The first one obviously did km t have the screw holes for the steering wheel like up correctly.
