2010 Yamaha stops on hills
My 2010 Yamaha electric golf cart shuts down power when going up hills after about 30 min of use. The tow switch is toggled and it will run again for a minute, then continually stops. It happens more often after that until it sits overnight.
The Solenoid was replaced, and the problem is still occurring. |

Re: 2010 Yamaha stops on hills
Batteries is likely cause. Sounds like low voltage shutdown. And happening under most load supports this idea.
To test this theory, connect a volt meter to the pack B+ & B-, then replicate the failure condition with a buddy monitoring just how low the voltage gets when it shuts down. I bet you will be shocked by the results. |
