Oil Leak Identification
Came back from a ride and smelled a little hot. Looks like there is some oil slinging from the motor and burning off at the muffler. Y’all think this is the fill tube or crank case? How do you get the fill tube off to replace the o ring?

Re: Oil Leak Identification
Get an OEM gasket. They now have silicone in the places needed. Unfortunatly, unless your very lucky....you'll the tool to remove the clutch assy. Since your running a Plowman's "Team" clutch, better get ahold of Don for the right puller needed.

Re: Oil Leak Identification
I recently installed a Plowmans Team clutch, luckily purchased the puller at the same time. Any other gaskets I will need while the case is off?

Re: Oil Leak Identification
No other gaskets needed, but you may want a new crank seal. Oh, get a valve cover gasket, sometimes a leaky one can let the oil drain down onto the engine. I hate oil messes!

Re: Oil Leak Identification
Will do thanks for the info! I put Permatex on the valve cover after checking the valves when I first purchased the cart.

Re: Oil Leak Identification
Smallblock, is there a fill tube gasket that should be replaced while doing all this work?
