if your charger is working but cart won,t charge theres a good chance the OBC is bad not an uncommon problem......if you did the OBC bypass and it didn,t work theres no real way of testing.......if you can try your charger on a known good cart and it works replace your OBC.....................

and Yes the OBC tells the battery light to come on , among other things .

put a hydrometer on the batts, every cell has 1.275, so i guess i got a bad obc?

those are good #,s and if they hold up under load i would think your batteries arn,t an issue.

my load tester does noes do 8 volts how else can i check?

you can if you have a volt meter just clips leads on batteries, do 1 at a time and hit pedal watch meter and be careful with cart either back it up against something or pull it up to something ...............just so you don,t take off without being ready make sense???.................................
