howdy,
club car guy here, wanting some info.
my neighbor just bought an ez go for 300 bucks, and was wanting some info? like what year is it? and what model? and i think 300 was high......

is thing a 2 stroke motor? and if is, where is the oil tank?

Its' an 88 Marathon 2-stroke(the "Red-Headed Step-Child" of Ez-Go)88's have a lot of 1-year stuff on them(exhaust is the big difference,yours looks to be in good shape).The oil-pump system looks to be eliminated(it bolts to the flywheel-housing on the end of the crankshaft,the tank is usually on the seat-wall under the passenger).Mix the fuel 128:1(1oz./gal.)Hope this helps.

now that we know what we are working with, we can start buying parts.
128: 1 ratio sounds high, so the 40:1 i am using in my weed eater wont work on this ez go? so if the oil pump is missing? just mix the fuel before you fill up the tank right, simple enough.

Someone needs to call the cops! 300 bucks! I paid 700 for my 88.

At 40:1 you'll be fouling plugs all the time, stick with what Pachanga says, 128:1, and you won't have any problems. And yes, just premix before fueling. Obviously there was a problem with the oil injector before so it was removed. IMO its better to premix anyway because you won't know the oil injector is bad until the motor seizes.
