Cart to loud
My 84 ezgo seams to be to loud. I BBQ the muffler and was wondering if putting a brand new muffler would quiet the cart down a bit. I'm not expecting the cart to be a stealth mobile and realize its an old cart but it just seams very loud to me. Would a brand new muffler help out or not.. Thanks Guys!!!

Re: Cart to loud
They are definitely loud compared to a 4-stroke cart.Depending on what is wrong with your muffler,a new one may help,or be an expensive let-down.I guess that first, you should listen to another 2-stroke Ez-Go and compare, then you can decide. Also look it over good, there may be some cracks/holes.They tend to crack around the inlet-pipe,and if the outlet-tube breaks off,it may be louder if the hole tore out.Hope this helps.

Re: Cart to loud
Also check the flang gaskets and make sure they aren't blown out around the pipes.
