Default Few questions before I buy

First off thank you for all the quick replys to my other thread about what these carts I'm going to pick up
If you look at the pix in my other thread the brown one is an 85 g1 which is the one I plan on keeping but it doesn't run. When I looked at them today he told me that he was dragging his backyard and it just shut down so he checked and found it not getting fuel did a drip to the carb and it fired right up as he was messing with it it lost all power so he gave up and it has sat since for about a year or so.
What could be the problem and is this a problem that has happened to others, I would do a compression test on it but since it doesn't have power can't do that.

Any thoughts on what it could be or should I just walk away?

There are two fuses. One for +12v and one for ground. If the solenoids don't click, check the +12v fuse. G1's are very easy to fix. For $350, you can't walk away!

Buy them! If you pass them up the next buyer in line will thank you!

I figured for that price it's a deal not to pass up.

Are there long travel kits for g1's or is the jakes lift on it all that's available?
