Default questions; The axels look like/202 CC ds

The axells, appear from the diagrams received here. They are splined on the inside end .and .the o/s end. Do they just slide ,out-after i take the wheel flange off?I am attempting to find this noise i have, after finding the "Centering motor kit" didn't work. I may have a chipped, or broken tooth on the splines, on either side. Can i get some more input on this problem whipped ? thank you as always, couldn't do it by myself. bob s
