Do any 'local' parts stores carry drive belts? In a hurry...
I'm kind of in a hurry to.test a drive belt issue, for a yamaha G2. Do any local auto parts stores carry them?
If so, is there a part # cross reference I can use? Thanks Shawn |

This is the belt that I use on my 2011 YDRA that has the new FBT clutches installed. I now have to use the J55 belt instead of the JW1 belt that is required with the original TEAM clutches. This is a heavy duty Kevlar reinforced belt and is holding up better than the OEM belt I was using.
Brand Gates Item Weight 14.4 ounces Product Dimensions 6 x 6 x 16 inches Item model number 24G3884 Manufacturer Part Number 24G3884 OEM Part Number J55-G6241-00-00 |

skip the "auto parts store" belts unless there is no other options. OEM belts, or other premium kevlar band belts from the golf aftermarket is money better spent. if you gotta "get by" for the weekend, then do what you must. the "stock style" belts from aftermarket/parts store are crummy from any i seen. i wont even bother with the oem belt anymore on my lifted cart (worn out too fast), premium belts for me. there is a instantly noticable difference. "stock style" aftermarket belts are thin & lame compared to OEM, OEM belts are the minimum standard, HD double-cog kevlar belts are best (instant performance improvement and long life). Team clutches (2007-13?) are hard on belts, get a good one.
