1987 yamaha g5 running issues
I have what I believe to be a yamaha g5 1987 gas engine. It was running good then all of a sudden it just stopped. Now if you let it sit it will turn over for a few times and start to move then die again. I don't have my meter here to check the battery at the time. I don't know where to start any ideas would be appreciated.

A "87" would be a G3, a 2 stroke engine.

You need to get that battery tested for sure. It sounds like it might be cranking just enough to get you going one time but not enough for much after that.
