Thanks Volt_ampere, That is what I suspected. So here is the dilemma, buy a used motor? Repair this one? Or put the money towards an upgraded motor?

Ok so I blew all the dust out, replaced the bearing, brushes were still about 80% so I left them. Put it back together and noise is gone. The bearing actually spun freely but had the slightest amount of play in it. Thanks for everyone’s input and help!

I have to replace a bad front wheel bearing which is loud now the motor is quiet. This cart is pretty quick. With phone GPS and 8 month old batteries it cruises at 18mph on stock tires and flat roads. Has me thinking of doing a Riot Kit Jr from Plowman’s on my G29!!!
