Governor rod on kf82 engine
Hello and thanks in advance. I recently tore down my 1984 club car engine. KF82. After removing side cover I noticed there is nothing fastened to the governor rod on the inside of engine, just 2 small holes in shaft, looks like something was fastened there at one time.
Thanks Larry |

Re: Governor rod on kf82 engine
These Club Car DS carts have a governor built into the rear axle the controls/limits cart speed.

Re: Governor rod on kf82 engine
Thanks for the info. Do you suppose they remove the engine governor for golf cart application? I would think when engine was used in John Deere it would have a governor.
Thanks Larry |
