Exclamation Ezgo TXT won't move

My 1998 Ezgo TXT won't move. I have replaced the solenoid twice I have replaced batteries, I have replaced the speed controller and the F/R switch. The only thing that isn't replaced is the motor. but my part doesn't even get a click from the solenoid which it should even if the motor is bad I have also replaced the accelerator

Off hand I would suspect you have something wired wrong.

Look at the "stickies" at the top of the EZ-GO Electric forum and look to test the voltage across your system on a step, by, step sequence.

You will need a Multimeter (cheap...like $20 on Amazon) to do this.

I'd start with the voltage readings at the battery pack. Then follow where the cables lead and check the voltage at that point....then the next...and on and on.

Look at given points where you key is on and off, and your throttle is on and off. At some point you're going to find where it should be getting volts but isn't.

Check the reed switch in the charge port. I've never done it but I think you can take the top off the charge port to access it. If it goes bad the controller thinks the charger is plugged in and the cart won't run. Search on this forum or you tube on how to bypass it if its bad, and you don't won't to replace it. If you bypass it the cart will run with the charger plugged in.
