I know nothing about Crown batteries but they seem to have better specs than the T-105's.
The closest match to these from Trojan is the T-125 or even better specs than the Crown is the T-145.
If you are getting numbers close to Trojan, I would stick with the best.

What a coincidence! I was just sneaking at their web site!

There's good reviews on them used on the industrial field (forklifts, aerial machines, etc)
Read good words also in EV's forums.

The distributor near me sales both trojan and crown.

trojan t105 for 110..
crown 225 for 95.00
and a blem version for 60.00

the cr 225 is a 6v 225 20 hr 185 5 hr 115@75 RC min.

the c-225 for 95 seems like a good deal, but why not go for their c-245, as per this:
http://www.crownbattery.com/PDF/Crow...0Batteries.pdf
seems near comparable to t-145's.

what model is the blem for 60? is there actually lead inside those?

cool on the blems then! but I would closely check shelf time
Also check that on any other battery, even Trojans. This is one of the best guarantees i offer, a fresh battery, I usually sell Trojan made no longer than 2 weeks ago, down here @ Mess-ico this is quite a milestone... I cannot source the crowns but would be interesting to hear about your experience... are these batts for your new build? by the way, you might have to start a new thread since the original was hijacked and closed

A friend sold Crowns for a few years. A lot of individual batteries had to be warranteed.... Many more than Trojan. They were economical.

We have been selling Crowns for a few years now and have had good luck with them. Only had to exchange a couple of them. In our area people just don't want to spend as much as what a Trojan costs and the Crowns seem to be a close second for a little better price.
