So it's taking off as soon as you make the connection? That's the first I've ever heard of that with the IQ drive system such as yours... The IQ controller is not supposed to run unless it first detects a zero throttle. If throttle is applied when the connection is made, it's not supposed to run until you release it and re-apply. There may be an issue with your motor controller and/or MCOR.

OK, so I have all the batteries wired in as per the forum advice.
When I switch it from Tow to run the battery light on the dash comes on but turns off again after a minute or so. I turn the key and put my foot on the gas but nothing happens. I thought maybe the batteries were not charged so plugged in the the charger and that shows there is a good 36V charge in the system so I don't think that can be the issue. Any suggestions? Also, where should I connect the thin yellow cable (fused) that comes from the front of the battery bay near the forward and reverse switch? |
