Bob, if you end up needing new batteries, get with me before you go out and buy 12 Volt batteries. There are conversion kits available that will allow you to put 8 Volt batteries in your vehicle. The 8 Volt batteries are much better than the 12s in every aspect.

These L-116's weigh as much as they cost, low batteries bust hoses, motor runs , not enough to open valves, learned that the easy way of course,...

I'm pretty sure he's got an 02 DS. Shouldn't it have the six battery configuration?

Bob you could always remove your batteries, take them to any local auto parts store and they will put their computerized load tester on each one individually.

Battery stores said; they,don't have A "voltage drawdown machine"or way of doing a test like this. They just have nicer multi -meters. My meter is a sears digital type.Scotty sent me a sheet on doing this maneuver.in my driveway. bob s
