1990 EZGO Rear End Whining
I have a 1990 EZGO Electric. Rear end is whining. Already checked both hubs and breaks. Looked at gears with flash light not teeth missing. Pulled motor. It sounds like it is coming from the input shaft. Maybe a bad bearing. Removed ring but could not pull input shaft. Is there a secret to removing the input shaft?

Re: 1990 EZGO Rear End Whining
I replaced all bearings, seals, and oil on my 1998 and it quieted it up pretty good. Yours is 23 years old.
