Default Rear Axle Oil

I have looked at so many sites and they all say something different. I've read everything from 30 to 90.

We just spent $1500.00 upgrading our 1990 Marathon so we don't want to screw anything up. What weight axle oil should we use?

Whatever you used is fine. The thing ain't gonna go 70+ MPH, and prolly won't get 10,000 miles per year.

If the 23 year old gears are getting a bit noisy, heavier oil may quieten them down some.
What ever weight oil you decide on, add some Lucas or STP to it (5%-10%)
