Hot Rod look
Im more of a Hot Rod guy, Has anyone done 8" wheels up front & 10" wheels w/ shackles in back?
Do they make wheels that are the same design in different sizes? |

Re: Hot Rod look
Look at the sponsor sites. You'll find wheels and wheel/tire combos in all sizes. Just remember, these are golf carts, (relaxed cruising along a groomed path). The front axle is stamped steel and the additional torque and weight applied to it are going to take a toll.

Re: Hot Rod look
you can get stock metal rims and choose hubcaps. there are a ton of well made ones out there. I just bought a set of Cragars that scream hot rod .
I would probably do the 10's and 8's but use no shackles and still have the big and little look with a slight rake. |

Re: Hot Rod look
Can you post pics of yours? I have a set of silver painted, and a set of chrome plated stock wheels, both with stock tires. I'd like to bling them up a bit, but don't really want to spend too much money. Mine's a sleeper right now. No one knows what's under the seat, and I love blowing away lifted, tricked out looking buggies.

Re: Hot Rod look
Don't worry about the front-axle.They are a welded tube-assy,and are quite strong. You may have to shackle-lift or flip the rear suspension to run larger tires in the rear.I've seen people use the 4.80x 8 trailer-tires/wheels on the front too,if you want skinnies up front.Hope this helps.
