Unhappy o3 pds runs sometimes

Hello folks....need a little advice/ help

when I step on accelerator...I hear solenoid click every time. Sometimes it'll take off and run great for 50 ft and the acts like regen system kicks in and it slows way down and sometimes stops. Batterys are fully charged tested a-1 and shows over 36 volts at the end of circuit. Sometimes if it won't go I can click solenoid several times and then it'll take off.

If there's a speed control on that motor, can it be disconnected and still run ?

Sorry to take your time...I'm still learning

Thanks

If the rpm sensor is disconnected the stock controller will not work.
Put the cart into diagnostic mode and tell up what fault code you get.

Thanks for your time sir scotty. Don't know how to put it in diagnostic mode or what it's supposed to do when I get to that point. Took the cover off the controller box, and small red wire on solenoid was shorted to one of the big black cables going to the controller. Solved that problem and it may do better. Am bringing the batteries to full charge before further testing...
