Gas Pedal

I have completely disassembled a 2003 DS Club Car to clean and rebuild from the ground up. Problem is I cannot get the Go-Go-Go pedal off. Any suggestions? I have taken the brake off with no issues.

I just replaced the floor mat in my 2003 ds club car. I had to take both the brake and gas assemblies off in order to fit them thru the slots cut in the new mat. It was my first time doing this so I was unsure of what I was doing. I made pics of everything for reference before I started, the I started taking everything apart piece by piece. The hardest part was some of the parts were really stuck on the gas pedal shaft. I finally worked it off cleaned up all the rusty spots added a little lube and put it all back together with no problems. It took me about and two hours to disassemble everything clean it and put back together. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Mostly laying under the cart which I had a lift kit on which made it easier was the worst part plus some tight bolts to break loose. It can look intimidating but once you get into it its not really that bad.
