2009 ds wont go unless pedal goes 3/4 of way down

2009 ds 48 volt everything works fine he says forward or reverse it wont go unless you push it till almost floored. no throttle control at all

Sounds like the drive bar (forked rod that connects to MCOR) and the pedal shaft are worn. Very common problem. The fix is some fuel line on the back fork of the drive bar
