There are a few different vendors. We are one of them. The manufacturers website is -edit TNG-. Ours is linked in our signature. All pricing works out the same.

OK, I'm almost ready to order an SC5 from you Guys. Just a couple of more questions. I would like to try it on my stock CC motor first that might do it for me.
However, if I do that can I still use the SC5 on one of you higher power motors later on with no problem if more torque is needed?

Thanks for your patience with me on this problem.

I'll try to answer that for them. I think the answer is yes, but you will have to send the programmer to them to have them reprogram it for the new motor.

Yes, the programmer will still work, but I'd recommend having updated to a newer tune. Software Updates for the same tune are free, but changing tunes has a marginal charge, like $20.

Ok Guy's,

The Code 5 Programmer came in the mail. Very easy to install. I followed the instructions from the web site and loaded with no hiccups.
I set the programmer to the "Torque mode". I am more interested in torque rather than speed. As for the results, I will agree with the advertised torque increase to be in the 20 percent range. Even in "Torque Mode" my speed is still 16-17 mph by GPS running 18 inch all terrain tires.
Personally I am satisfied with the device.

Oh, specs of cart are:
2003 Club Car IQ
Stock 3.2 hp GE motor
Stock Curties 250 amp controller.
All cables are #4 welding cable with soldered ends.
