Check or replace the voltage regulator, it's cheap enough. !5.7 V is much too high.

I don't know about a 93, but my 07 manual says 15.3V is nominal for a good regulator at WOT!

i have been running the new battery for a week now. no known problems. lights are staying bright. cart starts every time. I'm thinking it was the old battery was just weak
