Default New Trojans only charging to 50.4

I have a set of 2 month of Trojan 12v batteries that I have broken in the right way. I am only getting them to charge up to 50.4 volts, which I believe is 90% charged. I know everyone is against the 12v's but that's what I have. Any idea what could be going on? G29 cart

We need you to plug in the charger, amd monitor the highest voltage seen while charging. Oh yeah, what model charger, "yamaha" is not the answer, MAC, DPI, or small, light flat "moric" charger with fan on back.

You should see voltages slowly increasing to 58.6v or more (preferred below 60v for trojan), while on charge.

My DPI has 4 selectable modes for different batteries. Does yours have that and if so do you know what mode it's in?

Have you checked your meter calibration?

You have a original "yamaha spec" DPI charger. It has 3 features uncommon to a dpi charger. 1, it has a relay, and does not float charge batteries. 2, it has no ammeter. 3, it can be a 36v, or 48v charger by changing the mode. Your charger has to be opened up to change modes. If you are certain that the voltage went no higher than stated above, you may want to switch to the USBattery mode and try that while monitoring maximum voltage reached.
