Club car microswitch
Going to look at a club car tonight and the owner knows it has a 10hp Kohler engine in it but that's about all he knows. That and the microswitch isn't hooked up since the engine doesn't shut off when he releases the gas. With little info that I know how hard will it be for me to get the microswitch active again. He is no help with how it is wired and such.

Re: Club car microswitch
Kohler? or Kawasaki?
Kawasaki's are the stock engine for Club Car, and if that's the case, The black wire is disconnected from the end of the bottom microswitch in the electrical components box to make it idle, (black box between the battery and the engine) It's a pretty simple fix to plug it back in! 085.JPG If it's a Kohler engine... it could be anything! |

He says its a 10hp kohler engine. Doesn't know anything else about it so I'm thinking the PO before him put it in?

Re: Club car microswitch
I just got to thinking... pre-92 KF82 Kawasaki engines "kind of look like" a Kohler,
But I guess we won't know until you come back and tell us what you've found out! Good luck! |
