Do we need any special tools to get at the mcor? Just wanted to make sure this was it. $800.00 for new batteries is a last resort. :-) We have no problem ordering a new one but might if need different tools then I'll have to go shopping. The headlights aren't working either, they did last year but not now. Different question for different post. Thanks for the help, and the pdf.

TahoeDawgZ71, what info do you need to order the mcor? It's a 2007 cc precedent. Do I need the model number and serial number?

If it's a 2007 it should have the Generation 1 Pedal group in it. If it does, the only available replacement is the MCOR2, part number 102528501. The MCOR4 will not fit on the Generation 1 pedal group. You can identify the pedal group by looking at the pictures in this thread....... http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...explained.html

No. Serial number doesn't really matter. Pedal identification is more important.

Just a followup, took all of 5 minutes to replace and it works like a charm and fixed all the hesitation problems and lack of top speed. Thanks guys, I appreciate the help. Sorry for hijack, but that was the perfect quick fix.
