Default Price on Precedent

What do you guys think a fair price would be for a 2004 Precedent with a 2011 body. It's got a 4" lift, off road tires, rear folding seat and brush guard. Its needs new batteries, but looks really clean and nice. He's asking $3700.

Check out these guys and you can get an idea of pricing.

Price sounds high to me because of cart needing batteries.

The prices depend on your location and supply and demand...the bigger question is: will batteries make it work without any other issues? What if you replaced the batteries to find that the OBC, motor or controller were bad...that price or even $1000 lower would be a killer...ask the seller to replace the batteries with good quality Trojans and then allow you to test drive the cart before you commit...otherwise walk away. Been there...done that.

I decided to pass on the cart, he was pretty firm on the price. I'm going to try to find a series precedent to modify myself. Thanks for the advice.

You won't find a series Precedent. They never made them. But talk to me if you want to create one.

Special Order Items. If you don't see the item you want in our catalog — don't worry!

Yes, definitely special order items. But it can be done. I've done several of them and it makes one heck of a vehicle.

I was able to search around local cart stores and found a 2007 Precedent with one year old batteries and rear seat for 2200. There are some deals out there, you just have to be patient. I am now looking into fixing it up. Tahoe is a great knowledgable resource.
