You didn't waste no time! Are you putting on new wheels also? |

Re: Scored big on a 01 DS!
I already had 205/65-10 wheels they worked good, but once in a while with two people you could hear a slight rub in a sharp turn.
This leveled the front with the back of my cart. I have HD rear springs. I am running 12 lbs in my tires and it rides pretty smooth. |

Do you lose torque by putting 14" wheels on with low pro tires? I know you lose a lot of torque when you put the big tires on.

Re: Scored big on a 01 DS!
My tires are per spec. 20.5 tall, I measure them at 19.5 on the ground. I have a 350 amp controller so the torque is not hurt too bad. I can tell a difference since I put the bigger tires on when going up hill with two people.

I plan on updating to a 500 amp controller from the 225 that's on it now. Does that take care of any torque issues I might have?

Looks great at that height with the 14's - What size tire and what size wheel/offset? Does it rub at all like it is?

Latest pics of the rebuild. For those wondering, I did have trouble with the rear wheels wanting to scrub a little once the rear seat was installed. Tried putting some longer shackles on it to raise the body, but it only pushed the springs down further. I have a set of heavy duty springs on the way. |
