05 club car battery charging
So the 05 club car i bought came with new marina deep cycle batteries, not golf cart batteries. The battery charger im using is the orig club car charger. I checked batteries with multimeter and they very low. Charger has been hooked up, now should i buy a marine battery charger and use that or one of those battery maitainizer that trickle charge? Golf cart batteries out of my price range .? Is there any chance of frying anything in obc or wiring?

Re: 05 club car battery charging
Is the charger kicking on and charging? I am assuming these are 12v batteries. You won't fry anything with the marine batteries, but you will get poor performance from the cart.

Ya they are 12 volt batteries. And the charger kicks on when u plug into cart and turns off when done like it should. . I get a 49.4 up 50plus on my digital meter after charging. I did find one battery with a bad cell. Going to exchange .
