Re: solenoids
The club car solenoid can be very expensive, here is a reference number for you to save about 30 bucks per solenoid when you have to replace it, LOL
Can you send a picture of your solenoid setup, would like to see how you have that solenoid wired, post pics |

Sorry for the gigantic picture,
But yes take a picture of your setup there's a couple of wires that might can go somewhere else would like to know that your solenoid is properly wired.... |

Re: solenoids
I don't know what's happening with the solenoids constantly going bad,
and no offense PCC... but most starter solenoids are "intermittent duty", and a CC solenoid is "continuous duty" an intermittent solenoid will fail shortly after installing it! (unless there's something about that one your not sharing... ? ) |

Re: solenoids
Yes lock this is a continuous duty solenoid, I have a friend of mine who is a manager at an AutoZone, and after repeated failures with other solenoids(not AutoZone). This particular solenoid cost 14 bucks, I had been using other solenoids at the cost of $5 a pop from one of our sponsors, and the club car solenoid cost almost $40.....
I have used this one particular solenoid for quite a while now, every time one of my friends club car goes down we replace it with this particular solenoid, would like to report no incidents yet and still running. Which is why I was hoping he would post a picture of his solenoid setup. |

Re: solenoids
I'm the only one allowed to hang his head in shame, hold your head up proudly. And be the great man you are.
There is one other thing that I do like about these coils that I am using, how I used to burn up the other coils was by holding the starter for longer than 5 to 10 seconds trying to start up a cart that had either been rolled or sank. And the Heat was what was killing them. I have yet to replace any of the solenoids from AutoZone, on any of the carts that I installed them on. Besides I had a really good teacher, covers my mouth as I'm giggling, pointing the finger at you........ And no it's not the middle one lmao.... |
