Default Dielectric grease on FR Switch?

I have a heavy duty FR switch I bought last year from ScottyB with my hunting buggie package. It’s still REALLY stiff after a year. I understand it going to be stiff because it’s HD but is there a way make it a little easier to move? Thought about a little dielectric grease. I don’t want the mess anything up. the FR switch mounting bracket does flex/twist a little when I shift it. I did order a caddy shift from mountain mills to see if that makes it a little easier to grab onto. TIA

Ive had dielectric grease on mine for years. I don't recall a noticeable difference but its been a long time.
The caddy shifter does make a big difference. I predict you will like it.
