1990 marathon rear axle help
I am wanting to change the gearlube in my axle, it looks like I can just drop the bottom cover to drain but were do I refill it from, all I can see is a breather tube on the top

Re: 1990 marathon rear axle help
Isn't there a plug in the cover, I know it seems kinda stupid to do it that way but i'm pretty sure it fills just like the electric rear ends. you have to put a hose on the lube bottle and squezze it up in there. Is it like this pic? I believe the 40oz is a mis-print in that manual, I think that's why I had saved this pic. not sure how much they hold but it's not very much. you can look in the manuals over in the electric section to find more info on it.
