Ask the people at comet, they should know. looks like you could use a harmonic balancer puller on it to me

I was thinking that, but was afraid to put too much torque on that piece - wasn't sure if it could handle it. I'll report back.

ok scuba, thats an old clutch, do you have a harmonic balancer puller? you could put a 1/2" or bigger rod in there to take up the inside length then use the 3 outside bolts on the puller and run the center bolt in and it should pop off, hope you have some luck on that. squirt some pb blaster or something like that and let it sit overnite with pressure on it, if it dont want to come off right away

Thanks, I'll do that. I'll probably go to the hardware store and pick up some bolts, 'cause my puller doesn't have matching bolts to the 3 that are there, and I don't want to bust them.

your close dock, the okoboji's are in northwest iowa.

i live in milford, which is 1 1/2 miles south of west okoboji.
the okoboji's are a vacation/tourist area in the summer with all the lakes around
