1/2 way through 2008. The manufacturing dates of the 6-8 v tray is probably early 2008, but the 6-8’s didn’t come out until 2008.5.

During that change they also moved the electronics to the back of the cart and added the Excel controller and it became known as an I2 cart.

Well this one definitely has the hump in the middle. Checked the batteries yesterday and 2 dropped to 6 volts the other 2 dropped to 9 so battery time.

Lithium time or a great set of US's. All of mine that had 4x12's always got the longest life from US, with Trojan being the next for my uses. https://www.usbattery.com/products/1.../us-12vrx-xc2/

His has US in it and I didn’t find a date code but think their life was cut short by maintenance or lack of it.

My 2008 had the 4 12 volt batteries, 2 years ago the battery box was modified to handle 6 8 volt batteries and its been running great. I even gave my old batteries to a guy in our park and he still runs them today.
Down the road I may change out the battery box to the new style but not sure, I dont think my wife likes it having the 6 inch lift. but she loves the led lights that I made for the wheels and under carriage. She can change the color for the hollidays, Like she just had kinda pink/purple for easter

I have a 2008.5 and it came with (4) 12v, but with no modifications fit (6) 8v. There was a thread on here showing the mods needed to fit 8v pack in previous years. It didn't look that difficult from what I remember.
