Re: How to properly eliminate and remove an OBC???
AH! Sergio so you mean I can de pin the white wire as well, tie the blue wire in the connector directly to the blue wire from the summit 2, and I should be good to go?
When I took the charge port off, there was a glass covered fuse of some sort, and the grey wire had the little yellow fuse holder as well. All of that is gone now, and I was just trying to utilize the lockout feature cause my wife doesn’t pay attention to these sort of things. Last thing I need is a broken charge port I am in the process of building. I will send pictures when I’m done with that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: How to properly eliminate and remove an OBC???
Correct, You don't need any wires or fuses from the charger receptacle.
The Blue wire from the Summit will go directly to the Blue wire that is in harness side of the OBC 6-pin connector. The White wire (+48v power) needs to be taped so it does not short against anything and it does not connect to anything. Make sure you run the Lester Connect APP and set the charger for OnBoard use. |

Re: How to properly eliminate and remove an OBC???
Gonna go try this now. Thanks for your input here, I knew it couldn’t be this difficult. Having the onboard charger is a game changer for us. No more worrying about charging, especially when I jump to a big boy controller and motor!

Yep! Had a buddy that makes stuff out of heavy duty plastic so he made the rings and I just drilled pilot holes and mounted it up
