If it's that bracket moving in relation to the bolt & nut, the bracket needs to be replaced. If it's the spindle moving in relation to the bolt, nut & bracket then it could be the kingpin bushings.

Order a new king pin. Leave the bushings alone unless you have a 3/4” ream to machine them out after you install them.
Some play in the bushings is considered normal and typically is not enough to worry about. The spindle will move up and down on the king pin. That’s also nothing to worry about. |

That is the "bracket" that is worn, the hole has been worn oblong. Club Car calls it an "Upper Delta Clevis", part # 1016384. Available from several of the site sponsors - for instance: https://www.revolutiongolfcars.com/p...ta-upper-93-ds

Ahh, I see now! Easy fix, Just tighten the lock nut.
Should be torqued to about 45 ft lbs if I remember right. |

Re: Is this a bushing that needs to be replaced? 03 DS
After viewing the video I would remove the nut, clean the crud off and inspect the bracket to see if the hole is oblong and needs to be replaced.
