Default 2009 Yamaha G29 48 volt

I was driving and smelled something burning and the golf cart slowed down and now will not go past 16mph we’re as before it would do 25mph and I checked all cables and are all tight. Any ideas what this could be

Can you push the cart , or is "dragging brakes" slowing you down.

Ok, check battery pack voltage while driving at max speed. Then check voltage on motor terminals A1 & A2 while driving at max speed. Having some clips for your meter leads is handy.

I have the Navitas controller and did not get any fault codes, not sure if that helps.

Oh, never said that. I'm totally out on that, never used one of them, so I have no idea. Call the supplier. I thought we were talking yamaha parts. I'm not yet a fan, but many aftermarket supplies are ust dieing to get me to sell them. So the markup must be good.
