2016 AC g29 top speed calculation please!
Hi everybody! First post here but definitely not my first forums (so yes I tried searching😁) man too many hobbies over the years but so much fun and so much info phew!... ok so picking up a factory AC g29 2016 here soon and trying to plan the build. Cart will be used to take trash out and get mail 1.5mi round trip paved road. One of my top priorities is to be able to do 30mph (unloaded just me) and so I’m trying to find out if I need 23” tires or can go 22”. Plan is for a 600amp Navitas controller (which only info I can find says will easily get me there with a smile on my face but I also want to research Alltrax some more before I pull the trigger on that). Anyway thanks for any help Hope everyone is staying safe happy and healthy out there.

Re: 2016 AC g29 top speed calculation please!
I have a 2011 G29 that is not lifted, only has an Alltrax XCT48400, and I got had a motor built by Electrical Motor Products. My setup will gps at 31 mph. Not familiar with Navitas, but the alltrax is very user friendly (hit up ScottyB, a site sponsor), and Chuck at EMP is great!!

Thanks cgtech I’ve seen your profile pic all over this place since this obsession started and I was hoping you’d chime in cause your responses are always so clear and definite. Ok so Alltrax is out. Any idea on what gear ratio I’ll have (it’s coming from a golf course so safe to assume fleet?) and what RPM to motor will max out at with the new controller? I’ll start looking cause I’m sure there’s a calculator out there somewhere...

Re: 2016 AC g29 top speed calculation please!
Ok looks like gear ratio should be 12.5 if so I’ll need to turn near 6000 rpm to get to 30mph. Can anyone confirm the ratio or what the motor will be able to turn.
