Default Drive 2 electric

Looking for some advise and opinions.I am looking to purchase a new Drive 2 ptv at the dealer.I am conflicted on Buying the electric or the gas.I tested both the gas was sluggish ofF the line but reached top speed fairly quick. The electric has a lot more Torque but noticed a slight drop in zip when I was on with wife I am 220 wife is much smaller.we have some hills in the neighborhood which it will be mostly used for just want to make sure I get the right cart, she prefers the electric I am open to bothI owned a rxv electric in the past It was good on hills I also have a club carry all gasser at work it works great also. I will be adding the extra seat in back and probably doing a 3 inch lift with taller tires and maybe adding a stereo. I have never owned a Yamaha cart so looking for some advice I guess my biggest concern is pulling people up the hills in the neighborhood .Any opinions or advice would be appreciated
Thx.

The electric will hold speed up the hills better than the gas, based on your description of what you plan to do. The gas PTV already has high speed gears from the factory (9.6:1).

If I adjusted the governor and added a plowman clutch kit would that resolve issues with the gasser? Thinking the gas will hold its value better?

Adjusting the governor will do nothing for your "up a hill" speed, unless you adjusted the cart to have a very low top speed (lower than the current up-hill speed), which would also lower your hill speed. Plowmans stuff will help.
