Here is my solenoid.

Diode on the small terminals and pre-charge resistor on large terminals.

If you're using std cables the resistor is wired into the B+ terminal and the other end goes to the large terminal on the left.

However, on the stock solenoid there doesn't appear to be a diode. It's not on the wiring diagram either.

Maybe the diode is in the controller. My Alltrax requires a diode but not a pre-charge resistor.

I dont have a pre charged diode or resistor? It may be the wire on the my negative cable on top? , But I found the problem it was a defective controller. Got a new controller on ebay $200 saved me a ton of headaches and didnt hurt the pockets that bad. Thanks guy
